He was raised in a nurturing home by his mother and father in Lansing, MI. PNUT was exposed to art, athletics, and music at an early age. For many years his first love was sports; however, it would soon take a back seat to his interest in music. His father, a guitarist, and uncle, a DJ/producer, helped propel interest into passion. After high school, PNUT moved to Atlanta, GA, to attend Morehouse College and pursue an entertainment career.
